Joe Biden starts radiation therapy for cancer
Former President Joe Biden has started radiation therapy for an aggressive form of cancer that was diagnosed in May.
“As part of a treatment plan for prostate cancer, President Biden is currently undergoing radiation therapy and hormone treatment,” a spokesperson for Biden told NBC News.
They added that the radiation treatment is expected to last for five weeks, and comes on top of a hormone medication that he had already been taking.
Biden, 82, also underwent surgery in September to remove skin cancer lesions.
