Homicide investigation underway in north Austin, APD says

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Police Department officers are investigating a homicide in north Austin near the 1800 block of Rutland Drive, according to a social media post.
APD said the call came in just after 3 a.m. on Sunday.
A media briefing will occur at 7:35 a.m., where police will give more details about the incident.
