3 suspects arrested on capital murder charges

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Three capital murder suspects were arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service related to a May 2024 homicide investigation.

Police responded to the 1800 block of Colony Creek Drive in north Austin on May 4, 2024, and found a man lying face down from an apparent gunshot wound. That man was later identified as 38-year-old Nicholas Taylor.

On Feb. 7, the Austin Police Department obtained search warrants for 18-year-old Aden “Jermiah” Munoz, 37-year-old Bethany “Sista Grace” Libby and 23-year-old Michael “Kujo” Carter, all of Austin.

Following an initial investigation, APD’s homicide unit identified Munoz, Libby and Carter as suspects in the case. According to police, the three suspects allegedly conspired and acted with one another to commit the murder.

After their arrests, the suspects were transferred to the Austin Police Department.
