During the San Francisco 49ers 24-14 win over the Denver Broncos, the Niners accomplished a rare feat not seen in 21-years: They’re the first team not to allow a sack through their first four games.
Last time this happened? During the Peyton Manning era with the Indianapolis Colts in 2005, where the AFC South team opened the season with 13 straight wins and averaged 35.6 points per game. Even though they went on to lose their opening playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, it was still a remarkable season.
Currently, San Francisco is 1st in the NFC West and has an undefeated season of 4-0. They look to take on the Seattle Seahawks next Sunday.
