Andy Cohen Sends Well Wishes To Amanda Batula And Kyle Cooke Following Divorce Announcement: “Marriage Should Be Fun”

Andy Cohen has weighed in on Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke‘s shocking split.

At the end of Tuesday night’s (Jan. 20) episode of Watch What Happens Live, Cohen sent his well wishes to the Summer House stars, who announced their separation after four years of marriage earlier this week.

“Tonight’s Jackhole goes to the bombshell news that broke over the last 24 hours that Summer House’s Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula have broken up after four years of marriage,” Cohen said. “I’m sure that was a difficult decision, but we are proud of you two choosing what is best for you because, to paraphrase a certain someone, marriage should be fun.”

He added, “We wish you both the very, very, best.”

@BravoTV later posted the clip to its Instagram account, under which Cooke commented, “😢❤️.”

The estranged couple—who got married in September 2021, but have been together for a decade—shocked Bravo fans when they posted a joint statement, writing, “After much reflection, we have decided to part ways as a couple.”

“We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing,” they continued. “It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter.”

The news came mere weeks before the premiere of Summer House Season 10. They are also both slated to star alongside fellow Summer House OG Lindsay Hubbard in the spinoff series, In The City, which follows their lives outside of the Hamptons share house.

Just before BravoCon in November 2025, it was reported that Cooke and Batula were living separately, though they put on a united front at the three-day Las Vegas event.

“I’ve really come into my own, you know? I was Kyle’s ex-girlfriend, then Kyle’s girlfriend, then Kyle’s fiancée, then Kyle’s wife, and now I’m sitting next to Mr. Batula, also known as Amanda Batula’s husband,” Batula said during the Summer House panel, while Cooke joked, “It’s 2025, I’m taking her name.”

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
