Mark Consuelos To Make Broadway Debut In ‘Fallen Angels’ With Rose Byrne & Kelli O’Hara; Aasif Mandvi, Christopher Fitzgerald & Tracee Chimo Also Join Cast

Live with Kelly and Mark‘s Mark Consuelos will make his Broadway debut in Roundabout Theatre Company‘s upcoming revival of Noël Coward’s Fallen Angels, joining the previously announced Rose Byrne and Kelli O’Hara.

Consuelos, whose TV credits also include 9-1-1, Riverdale and All My Children, will play the character Maurice Duclos in the production that begins preview performances at the Todd Haimes Theatre on Friday, March 27, officially opens on Sunday, April 19, and concludes its limited engagement on Sunday, June 7.

Other newly announced cast members are Tracee Chimo (Dying For Sex, The Heidi Chronicles, Bad Jews) as Saunders; Tony Award-nominee Christopher Fitzgerald (Company, Waitress) as “Willy Banbury”, and Aasif Mandvi (The Daily Show, Oklahoma!) as “Fred Sterroll.”

The newcomers, who complete the cast, were announced today by Roundabout. Scott Ellis (Art, Take Me Out) directs.

The synopsis: “Sparkling, dizzying, and deliciously potent, Noël Coward’s champagne-fresh comedy of bad manners shocked and delighted audiences in its 1925 premiere. Two upper-class wives, their husbands away for the day, share a few toasts to their pre-marital dalliances – with the same man, who just may be en route from France to visit. Old rivalries and past scandals bubble to the surface in this intoxicating romp from one of theatre’s comedy masters.”

The creative team for Fallen Angels includes David Rockwell (Set Design), Jeff Mahshie (Costume Design), Kenneth Posner (Lighting Design), and John Gromada (Sound Design).

Consuelos has appeared on stage in the New York premiere of Stuart Ross’ Off Broadway production of Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays, among other stage shows. He’ll next be seen in the Kevin Williamson written/directed sequel Scream 7, opposite Neve Campbell and Courteney Cox. With wife Kelly Ripa he won the 2024 Emmy Award for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host.

Chimo ecently recurred in the limited series Dying for Sex opposite Michelle Williams and Jenny Slate. She is best known for her recurring roles on Madam Secretary and Orange Is the New Black. She was a series regular on the TBS series People of Earth and can be seen in the film The Sound of Silence and the Netflix film Private Life. On Broadway she has appeared in Noises Off, The Heidi Chronicles, Harvey, and Irena’s Vow, and Off Broadway in Bad Jews.
