Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace in ‘Agony’ After Horror XL Bully Dog Attack Days After Weight-Loss Injection Scare

Former Big Brother star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace revealed she was hospitalized after a dog she said had previously been affectionate toward her suddenly attacked her, resulting in severe shoulder injuries and permanent scarring.

The 47-year-old television personality shared graphic photos of her wounds on Instagram over the weekend, describing the ordeal as life-changing while urging owners of powerful breeds to take training and control seriously.

The attack comes just days after Horgan-Wallace publicly discussed another health scare involving unregulated weight-loss injections she purchased online.

I’m in agony and scarred for life

Horgan-Wallace posted a photo taken with the dog shortly before the attack alongside a stark warning to her followers.

“Everyone knows I’m a dog mummy. I love dogs. This dog loved me, then for a split second for no reason he didn’t,” she wrote on Instagram.

She added, “Please please please understand how to raise and how these babies can switch. I’m in agony and scarred for life.”

The television star later shared an image from the hospital showing her shoulder heavily bandaged after the bite reportedly tore through tissue, leaving bone exposed.

She says she was fortunate the injuries weren’t worse

In a follow-up post, Horgan-Wallace reflected on how much more serious the attack could have been.

“Thankful it wasn’t my neck or face… Sad I’m scarred for life. Glad it wasn’t a child and it was me… So conflicted.”

While stressing that she still loves dogs, she urged owners of large breeds to take training and control seriously.

“Dogs are pack animals. They need you to be their leader. It makes them feel safe to know you are in control.”

She also warned parents, writing, “Big dogs are so powerful… protect your kids. It ain’t a joke.”

Attack comes days after another health scare

The dog attack follows another frightening episode Horgan-Wallace revealed publicly earlier this month.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain, she said she became seriously ill after purchasing unregulated weight-loss injections through TikTok while searching for a “quick fix” during what she described as a “dark place” in her life.

She said the products arrived pre-mixed without proper instructions and left her temporarily unable to move, prompting her to warn others against buying medication from unverified online sources.

XL Bully restrictions remain in force

The incident has also renewed attention on England and Wales’ restrictions surrounding XL Bully dogs.

Since February 2024, it has been a criminal offense to own an XL Bully without a valid Certificate of Exemption, with additional rules covering breeding, sale, and public handling of the breed.

The regulations were introduced following a series of fatal and serious attacks across the UK.

Horgan-Wallace has not identified the dog’s owner, and there has been no public indication that police are investigating the incident.
