Andrew and Tristan Tate Arrested in Miami: What Charges Are the ‘Manosphere’ Brothers Facing?
Andrew and Tristan Tate, the brothers known for their influence in the “manosphere,” were arrested by U.S. Marshals in Florida on Saturday on a combined 59 new charges filed against them in the UK, including child and extreme pornography and rape.
The Tate brothers were taken into custody outside the James L. Knight Center on Saturday afternoon, just minutes before Andrew Tate was scheduled to host a bare-knuckle boxing event. The pending UK charges allege that Andrew Tate, 39, and Tristan Tate, 37, abused women between July 2010 and August 2017, according to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS). There are several other charges of pornography and rape against the brothers.
Finally, In the Net
The Tate brothers, who hold dual British and American citizenship, have been embroiled in legal troubles for years. Their latest arrest follows a series of new sex crime charges filed against them in the UK.
Andrew also faces three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, three counts of assault causing actual bodily harm, and 19 additional charges related to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography, according to the statement.
Tristan has been charged with one count of sexual assault, two counts of rape, and three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, according to the release.
The statement said the charges relate to alleged incidents that took place between July 2010 and August 2017. UK authorities are seeking the brothers’ extradition.

“These charging decisions followed receipt of a further file of evidence from Bedfordshire Police and bring the total number of alleged victims in this case to seven,” Malcolm McHaffie, head of the Crown Prosecution Service’s Special Crime Division, said in a statement.
The Tates’ attorney, Joe McBryde, challenged the charges and told The New York Post that the brothers should not have been arrested before the conclusion of their criminal proceedings in Romania and a defamation case in Florida.
“This is like Keir Starmer’s last day in office; it’s obvious that this little petty bastard has nothing better to do than persecute these two guys he wishes he could act like, walk like and talk like,” McBryde said.
The Arrest Saga
The arrests were caught on video obtained by TMZ. In the footage, Andrew, dressed in a purple shirt, is seen being approached by a U.S. Marshal, who places him in handcuffs after he steps out of a white van outside the venue.

As Andrew stands still, a man wearing a bright gold jacket appears to remove his necklace before he is escorted to the back of a black SUV. Later, Tristan is also seen being led away in handcuffs.
“Tristan, anything to say?” someone is heard asking in the video, but the former kickboxer does not respond.
In 2025, Andrew was charged in the UK with 10 offenses, including rape, actual bodily harm, human trafficking, and controlling prostitution for gain, involving three women, according to the Crown Prosecution Service. Tristan Tate was charged with 11 offenses, including rape, actual bodily harm, and human trafficking, involving one woman.

The brothers were previously arrested in Bucharest, Romania, in December 2022 on allegations of rape, trafficking minors, and forming a criminal group to sexually exploit women. They spent three months in prison before being placed under house arrest in April 2023 and eventually left Romania for the United States in February 2025.
Andrew and Tristan have consistently denied all allegations against them.
Andrew’s former girlfriend, Lauren Southern, also alleged in her memoir, This Is Not Real Life, that he raped her and choked her until she lost consciousness.
