Ayesha Curry fires back after movie kiss with another man goes viral
Steph Curry’s support for his wife, Ayesha, has had to face a completely new test on Thursday.
This is because Ayesha starred in “Second Chance Holiday,” a Roku original film that released on Thursday.
In the film, Ayesha plays Chelsea, a woman who has endured a string of Christmas breakups who then reunites with her high school sweetheart (played by Matthew Daddario) upon returning to her hometown.
Steph already praised Ayesha for her leading role in the film and surely knew what he’d be seeing in it.
But seeing Ayesha kissing Daddario in the film has thrown basketball fans off.
Several social media accounts have posted a clip of Curry and Daddario kissing in the film. Many fan reactions were over the top.
It reached a point where Ayesha felt a need to respond to the chatter on Thursday morning with an X post that read, “It’s not even real 🤣 you guys are annoying.”
Ayesha is right to call this out, as on-screen romance with a co-star is an unavoidable reality of what being an actor is like and surely something Steph was on board with.
It would be interesting to how the Golden State Warriors superstar felt after watching this kiss for the first time, given that it was surely a novel experience for him though.
