Bills Make WR Move Before Rams Game Amid DJ Moore Injury Uncertainty

Buffalo Bills wide receiver DJ Moore is questionable for the team’s Week 5 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams on Monday due to a shoulder injury. Joshua Palmer will also miss the game due to injury.

In response to this situation in the wide receiver room, the Bills have now made a move.

While speaking to The Athletic’s Joe Buscaglia, Bills head coach Joe Brady announced that wide receiver Skyler Bell will make his NFL debut with Buffalo against the Rams.

Bell was scratched for each of the Bills’ first four games of the season. Yet, with this news, the New York native is officially getting his first regular season chance with Buffalo.

Bell will be aiming to impress in his NFL debut with the Bills. If he does, it will help his chances of sticking in their lineup as they get healthier.

The Bills selected Bell in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 125th overall. This was after he spent last season with the UConn Huskies, where he posted 13 touchdowns, 101 receptions, and 1,278 receiving yards in 13 games. He also performed well during his one preseason appearance for the Bills against the Pittsburgh Steelers, recording one touchdown, seven receptions, and 49 receiving yards.
