Brooklyn store Kelly Clarkson blasted shares — and deletes —customer review about staff’s ‘kindness’ amid drama

The store Kelly Clarkson blasted for treating her as if she “couldn’t afford” items shared a positive review from a customer amid the drama.

Art of Play, which is located in Brooklyn, New York, reposted a review about how the staff showed them “kindness” while they were shopping.

“From the very first time I walked into @artofplay, I felt welcomed and treated with such genuine kindness,” the customer wrote atop an image of the store.

“I love discovering unique treasures and connecting with the wonderful people there. It’s a place that leaves you smiling and wanting to come back. I’m already counting down the days until I return in two weeks!” the person added.

The review was later deleted from Art of Play’s Instagram Stories.

Page Six has reached out to the store for comment but did not immediately hear back.

On Saturday, the “American Idol” winner, 44, took to X to share her experience while shopping in the Brooklyn-based store.

“Just drove all the way to Brooklyn to check out this store I thought looked really rad and had a few things in mind to buy and literally was looked at as if I couldn’t afford it and was told he could find something comparable for me,” she wrote to her nearly nine million followers.

“Wow, dude. You’re an idiot and just lost a huge sale,” Clarkson added.

“But y’all should go check out Art of Play in Brooklyn if you enjoy being treated like Julia Roberts character in Pretty Woman. For sure, check it out 👎.”

In the 1990 film, Roberts, who plays Hollywood escort Vivian Ward, is treated poorly by a rude and snobbish employee due to the way she is dressed.

Later, Vivian — looking elegant and carrying numerous shopping bags from other retailers — returns to the boutique and confronts the rude employee.

“Big mistake. Big. Huge,” Vivian told the store worker.
