Buy or rent? Examining New York coaches and their longevity chances



Now that the Knicks have made whole again the roster of coaches who presently call New York home, it seems an appropriate time to revisit a project we’ve done here at Open Mike a few times previously through the years.

We’ll call it: Buy or rent?

Thirty percent of the baseball, basketball, football and hockey teams in New York have new coaches now. We’ll list this first to last in terms of longevity in the job (through Friday).
