Cindy Crawford said she couldn’t ‘imagine the pain of losing a child’ a decade before son Presley’s death

Cindy Crawford talked about how unbearable “losing” a child would be more than a decade before her son Presley Gerber’s death.

During a 2010 interview with the Mirror, the supermodel recalled her childhood and how close she became with her mom, Jennifer Sue Crawford-Moluf, after her little brother Jeffrey died from leukemia at a young age.

“Growing up, I sometimes felt she should have been angry or outraged and she wasn’t,” Crawford said.

“She had a son that died. My dad [John Crawford] had an affair and they divorce. Those were painful things for her but they didn’t take away from her light as a person,” she added.

“Now I’m a mom myself I’ve really come to appreciate her outlook on life. I can’t imagine the pain of losing a child.

Cindy, now 60, said her brother Jeffrey was 4 years old when he died — two years after being diagnosed with the blood cancer.

News surfaced that Presley had died at a Santa Monica, California, rehab facility on Sunday. He was only 27.

Sources told Page Six that the model checked in for treatment the same weekend he was pronounced deceased.

Though an official cause of death has not yet been revealed, 911 audio obtained by Page Six revealed that Presley went into “cardiac arrest” and suffered an “overdose.”

Page Six exclusively reported that the former “House of Style” host, who shares Presley and daughter Kaia Gerber, 25, with husband Rande Gerber, is “devastated” over her son’s tragic death.

“Cindy is inconsolable. She’s absolutely devastated. This is every parent’s worst nightmare, and the family is still trying to process everything that happened,” a source told us.

“They were so close. What you saw online and in the press wasn’t just for that purpose. They were a tight-knit family and [sister] Kaia and Presley were more than just siblings. Cindy has to be beyond gutted,” the insider added.
