‘Dancing With The Stars’: Elaine Hendrix Is MIA On Halloween Night Due to Injury

Alfonso Ribeiro started off Halloween Night on Dancing with the Stars with a scary piece of information: Elaine Hendrix won’t be competing tonight.

Ribeiro opened Tuesday’s show on ABC by revealing the Freaky Friday actress suffered an injury and is currently in the hospital. Hendrix remains a part of the cast.

Hendrix posted a video from her hospital bed and explained that she injured her ribs during Wicked night last week and they seized up before Tuesday’s show.

“Halloween is my favorite, and I’m devastated,” she wrote. “I was beyond excited to share what we had worked so hard on, although you’ll see a version of it. With your support, I’ll be back in the ballroom next week. I want nothing more.”
