Danny DeVito Reveals Where He and Ex Rhea Perlman Stand 9 Years After Separation
It’s always sunny for Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman, even after their separation.
Nine years after the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star and the Cheers alum broke up, he admitted that despite their new chapter, they have no plans to legally end their marriage. After all, they not only talk to each other every day, they other gather for meals together.
“We’re always over at her house,” DeVito, dad to Lucy, 43, Grace, 41, and Jacob, 38, with Perlman, told AARP: The Magazine in an interview published July 29. “We see the grandchildren together, that kind of stuff.”
As the comedian emphasized, “So that’s a good relationship.”
After all, though their relationship has evolved, their status as a tight family unit has not.
“No matter what happens in your life, the most important thing is having family and friends,” he emphasized, “reliable people in our lives who we can talk to, who we can open up to, who we can rely on to be there. I’m very fortunate.”
