Don Johnson Signs With Gersh


EXCLUSIVE: Golden Globe-winning and Emmy-nominated actor, producer, and director Don Johnson has signed with Gersh for representation in all areas.

Johnson was most recently seen starring as Captain Robert Massey in Ryan Murphy’s ABC drama series Doctor Odyssey opposite Joshua Jackson.

On the film side, he most recently starred as Chief Sandy Burnne opposite Aaron Pierre in Netflix’s Rebel Ridge, which held the No.1 spot on the platform for three consecutive weeks. He also starred as Richard Drysdale in Rian Johnson’s Knives Out and as Arthur in the Book Club franchise opposite Diane Keaton and Jane Fonda. He also had a supporting role in Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained, among numerous other credits.

Johnson is best known for his roles as Det. Sonny Crockett on the classic 1980s NBC series Miami Vice and as the title character in the 1996 CBS series Nash Bridges, which he also reprised in the 2021 Nash Bridges movie for USA. Johnson won a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama for his role as Sonny Crockett on Miami Vice, as well as an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his performance.

His additional TV credits include a major recurring role on HBO’s Watchmen, both seasons of NBC comedy series Kenan, which he also produced, as well as Young Sheldon, Blood & Oil, A Series Of Unfortunate Events, From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series and Eastbound & Down, among others.
