Doug Belgrad Leaving As Netflix VP Of Film Amid Layoffs

Doug Belgrad is departing Netflix where he has been Vice President of Film for the past two years. His exit is part of the major layoffs at the streamer. Ironically, he was Head of Film Dan Lin‘s first hire after Lin replaced Scott Stuber and did a round of layoffs as part of a reorg.
Belgrad spent 25 years, and was co-president under Amy Pascal. Upon exiting, he formed 2.0 Entertainment, and produced Gran Turismo and Bad Boys: Ride Or Die.
