Heart-stopping rescue saves capsized ship passengers off Cyprus



Helicopters rescued passengers stranded on the overturned hull of a ferry off North Cyprus on August 30. The catamaran, carrying about 270 passengers and crew, capsized shortly after leaving Kyrenia for Turkey, killing at least seven people and leaving 23 missing. Authorities said 237 people were rescued alive, while the cause of the ferry taking on water remained unknown.
