Heroes Cast Celebrate Hayden Panettiere During “Deeply Emotional” Reunion After Her Death


In his own tribute, Oka, who played Hiro Nakamura, echoed Panettiere’s infectious energy, writing in a post on X Aug. 17, “I’ll always remember her for her beautiful spirit, immense talent, and the joyful energy she brought to everything she did and the people around her.”

In the days since Panettiere’s Aug. 16 death, her costars from her other iconic roles have also reflected on their experience working with her. Connie Britton, who played Panettiere’s fellow lead and country artist Rayma James in Nashville, shared a glimpse into their goofy dynamic on set. 

This was Hayden,” Britton wrote in an Aug. 17 post. “Bursting with brilliance, shining so bright. I have no words for this sad song. Just heartbreak. I love you girl. Sleep easy now.”
