Inside Lewis Hamilton’s Ralph Lauren Milan outfit: Every piece
Lewis Hamilton and Colman Domingo shared the front row at Ralph Lauren’s Spring/Summer 2027 menswear show in Milan on June 19.
The brand has held its menswear show at its Milan palazzo for the past two seasons now, and the crowd it draws has become a reliable indicator of what the label is going for: classic, credentialed, and not trying particularly hard to seem cool – all while being incredibly cool.
Hamilton showed up dressed accordingly. The outfit was head-to-toe Ralph Lauren Purple Label, built around an earthy champagne-and-sand palette and anchored by a few pieces of silver-toned hardware that kept the whole thing from disappearing into beige.
The Outfit, Piece by Piece
The shirt was the Purple Label Cotton-Cashmere Herringbone piece in Champagne, priced at £1,300. It’s woven from Italian herringbone cloth that blends cotton and cashmere, cut with a soft collar and dual chest pockets. Hamilton wore it open past the second button with deliberate looseness. The champagne colorway is custom-developed, landing somewhere between cream and pale gold.
The trousers were the Gregory Hand-Tailored Linen in Sand (£620): high-waisted, single-pleat, finished with side adjusters. Linen is always a gamble at evening events, but a well-cut high-waist handles the crumple risk better than most. These do.
The belt might be the most interesting thing in the look. The Hand-Tooled Leather Western Belt from the Purple Label Spring line features elaborate floral tooling across its full length, with an ornate three-piece buckle set in mixed silver and gold. On a palette this neutral, that buckle is doing a lot of work It’s the only moment of real contrast in the entire outfit, and it earns it.
Completing the look below: the Purple Label Calf-Suede Chelsea Western Boot in Chestnut Brown (£850). The silhouette is a clean Chelsea, but decorative topstitching at the toe and a low stacked heel shift it toward Western territory. Calf suede keeps it wearable rather than costume-adjacent.
The Jewelry
With the collar open and the palette deliberately muted, the jewelry became the focal point. Given Hamilton’s ongoing partnership with Tiffany & Co, it’s likely custom jewelry from the brand. A statement silver link chain necklace sat at the center of the look, paired with diamond stud earrings and rings spread across both hands. Against the linen and cashmere backing, the silver becomes as punctuation rather than noise.
The show also drew Henry Golding, Tom Hiddleston, and Scott Eastwood , so the front row was not short on people who know their way around a tailor.
