Inside the ‘Cornell 7’ frat bedroom where woman was allegedly gang-raped, chilling footage reveals
Chilling newly surfaced video reveals inside the “Cornell 7’’ frat-house bedroom where a female student was allegedly gang-raped.
The grim footage, obtained by ABC News, captures a metal bed frame with no mattress on it right next to a platform bed with a mattress and white fitted sheet, with junk including empty clothes hangers and a bag of snacks strewn across it.
Plates of food, red drinking cups and other trash can be seen all around the bedroom, while psychedelic poster renderings of artist Edvard Munch’s “The Scream” and Leonardo DaVinci’s “Mona Lisa” adorn the walls in the space where the 20-year-old woman said the alleged rape happened.
The footage was taken weeks after Cornell University’s Chi Phi fraternity was suspended over allegations that seven brothers plied her with drugs and alcohol for an hourslong sexual assault.
The video also includes other rooms in the Tudor-style Ithaca mansion, with leather-looking couches and armchairs lining the behemoth home’s dark-paneled walls and what appears to be a DJ booth on a balcony perched over an entrance hall.
The mansion’s sweeping foyer features an Eastern Asian-style rug, with a majestic fireplace nearby and dark-red curtains across of the windows.
