Is the Jason Statham movie ‘Shelter’ streaming on Netflix or Amazon Prime Video?

Jason Statham is once again kicking butt and taking names in his new action movie, Shelter, which opens in movie theaters this weekend. The man may be pushing 60, but he shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Directed by Ric Roman Waugh, with a screenplay written by Ward Parry, Shelter stars Staham as a former hit man named Mason, who must betray his former employer in order to save the young girl (played by Bodhi Rae Breathnach, who was recently seen in Hamnet) who supplies for him. We love to see Statham go dad mode at the same time he’s going badass mode!

Also starring Bill Nighy, Naomi Ackie, and Daniel Mays, Shelter will no doubt deliver on the stunts, punches, and bullets that Jason Statham fans have come to expect. Shelter is not streaming on Netflix or Prime Video right now. While it’s possible Shelter may stream on Netflix someday, it won’t be until after the theatrical run and digital release of the movie. Shelter is not a Netflix original—it’s a small, independent film being distributed by Black Bear in the U.S.

You will be able to purchase Shelter on Prime Video eventually, when the movie becomes available to buy and rent on digital, but you will not be able to stream Shelter on Prime Video free with a Prime subscription any time soon, because it is not a Prime original movie.
