Jaxson Dart’s girlfriend writes heartfelt message to QB following devastating injury

Jaxson Dart’s girlfriend is on his side through thick and thin.

Marissa Ayers penned a heartfelt message to the quarterback in a video on TikTok after he suffered a devastating season-ending injury on Monday.

The video, which shows the couple dancing, is captioned with a lengthy message to Dart.

It has been an emotional few days. My sweet Jax- Your unconditional love and drive for this sport will push you through this temporary pain being away from it. We now place full trust in God to wrap His arms around you to heal your body and lift your spirits. The road to recovery begins, and I promise to keep my boy covered in so much love and prayer though it all. Jax you are the most determined and resilient person I know. You inspire me to show up for myself- my dreams and goals even when it’s difficult. So I promise to remind you of that strength you have instilled in me every single day. There is not a doubt in my mind you will come back even stronger than before. You can do everything you set your mind to- I’ve seen it firsthand, and I’ll be here to hold your hand each step of the way. I love you. @Darty

Ayers’ also says how she intends to be alongside Dart during his recovery journey in the coming months.

“So I promise to remind you of that strength you have instilled in me every single day,” the message continues. “There is not a doubt in my mind that you will come back even stronger than before. You can do everything you set your mind to — I’ve seen it firsthand, and I’ll be here to hold your hand each step of the way.

“I love you.”

Ayers’ post comes nearly a week after Dart suffered a season-ending left knee injury during the Giants’ 28-6 loss to the Rams.

Just seven snaps into the game, Dart was hit high-low by two Rams defenders, causing the QB to awkwardly fall on his knee.

Despite an injury such as Dart’s typically ending one’s season, the 23-year-old opted to get surgery early in hopes to make a return this season.

Head coach John Harbaugh has also not ruled Dart out should the Giants make the playoffs, though the injury typically carries a 4-6 month recovery period.

“I was excited that they were going to get to it right away,” Harbaugh said. “That was something that could be done quickly, so that was good.”
