Kamala Harris’ Ex Montel Williams Makes Rare Comment About Their Relationship
Montel Williams is pulling the curtain back on a past romance.
More than two decades after the former talk show host briefly dated former Vice President Kamala Harris while she was working as an attorney in San Francisco, he reflected on the renewed spotlight on their relationship after old photos resurfaced.
“I’m one of those guys that I don’t kiss and tell,” Williams shared on the July 6 episode of the On Par with Maury Povich podcast. “Who she dated 30, 40 years ago doesn’t matter. It was crazy. It was absolutely insane.”
“I was like, ‘Oh my goodness,'” he continued. “But you know, you can’t erase your past. You embrace your past.”
But the 70-year-old has nothing but love for his ex, whom he dated for a few months in 2001.
“I think that there was a lot of misconception about who she was, who she is,” he explained. “One of the smartest people I think I’ve ever met in my life. I give her credit for that.”
