Lakers’ Cameron Carr gushes over Summer League debut

Carr led the team with 19 points, two rebounds and one assist. After the loss, he opened up about how it felt to be on the court and playing for the Lakers. It sounds like it was a dream come true.

“It was a great moment,” Carr said of his summer league debut, according to Thuc Nhi Nguyen of the L.A. Times. “It was exciting, a blessing, like I’ve been saying. I’ve been preaching it: just the opportunity to get to step on the court with these dudes, and just learn the way and how they play and how we’re coming together.”

He added: “If I said I wasn’t nervous, I’d be lying. I was probably nervous, excited. I just was ready just for the first opportunity for the ball to go up in the air and I just get to compete with these guys.”
