Laura Loomer suspends show to focus on family life

Far-right activist and influencer Laura Loomer has announced that she will step back from her podcast, Loomer Unleashed, to spend more time with her family.

Loomer, who has long been a prominent supporter of President Trump, took to X to share the news on Thursday night.

“I’m taking a hiatus from my show @LoomerUnleashed, which I livestream twice a week.” she wrote, adding that: “I’ve been running on empty for too long. Family, my personal life, my upcoming wedding, a healthy work life balance and just the act of having a life outside of my show and my work have all been on hold.”

The announcement comes after Loomer had an extremely public reaction to Republican defeats in the midterm elections this week, taking to social media to predict a future of political violence and terrorism and declaring that the United States is “over” and has “no future.”

She added she will still be “fully supporting President Trump,” before signing off by saying she will be back when “the time is right.”
