LeBron James sends message after Game 3 loss: ‘We still got life’

The Los Angeles Lakers suffered a 131-108 loss to the reigning NBA-champion Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday night, surrendering an 0-3 deficit in their second-round playoff series.

Game 3 followed a similar pattern as the rest of the series thus far. LeBron James and the Lakers hung around in the first half, but an unstoppable third-quarter barrage ultimately resulted in a double-digit victory for the NBA’s No. 1 overall seed.

The Lakers are now facing elimination as they head into Game 4 on Monday night.

James was asked for his perspective on the Thunder’s 3-0 lead during his postgame media availability on Saturday. The 41-year-old NBA superstar tried to keep things positive as the Lakers prepare for Game 4.

“I’m not angry or disappointed. Obviously you’re disappointed at the simple fact, being down 3-0 obviously. But we still got life and that’s all you can ask for,” James said.
