Left Bank Promotes Charlie Goldberg & Caroline Tucker Under Moore
EXCLUSIVE: Change is afoot in the senior leader team at Charlotte Moore‘s Left Bank.
After Chief Operating Officer Grace Wilson exited, Moore has brought in ex-Sony Pictures Entertainment VP Finance Caroline Tucker in a Chief Financial Officer & Operations role. Sony owns Left Bank so Tucker is remaining in the stable but her role is a newly-created one. Meanwhile, business affairs chief Charlie Goldberg has been given an expanded role as Chief Commercial Officer.
Tucker will lead all financial reporting and operational functions across Left Bank while Goldberg will shape the company’s long-term commercial strategy, partnerships and growth opportunities.
Both executives will report to Moore, who has been slowly shaping her team since joining from her role as BBC content boss last year, bringing in the likes of Baby Reindeer exec Matt Jarvis as acting creative director. There have also been high-profile exits such as Wilson, who left a few weeks ago after almost 20 years, and development chief Ed Cripps, who moved to Neal Street.
Left Bank is best known for making Netflix’s The Crown but credits of late have included Dept. Q and Dear England.
Moore said: “As we continue to build on Left Bank’s success and look ahead to our next chapter of growth, I’m delighted to further strengthen our senior leadership team. Charlie has been instrumental to the success of the business over many years, and his expanded role will enable him to play an even greater part in shaping our commercial strategy and future opportunities.”
She added: “At the same time, Caroline brings exceptional financial, operational and strategic expertise, along with a deep understanding of both Left Bank and the wider Sony business. Together, Charlie and Caroline will be key partners to me and the leadership team as we continue to grow the company and build on our reputation for creating outstanding television.”
