Man arrested, charged in Fayette County shooting

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man was arrested Friday near Winchester after a homeowner found a man with gunshot wounds on her front porch Thursday, according to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials identified the suspect as 20-year-old Norman Robert Hicks. According to FCSO, he has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated robbery and tampering with physical evidence.
As of Friday, the victim in the investigation has not been identified, and their injury status is unknown.
FCSO said its Criminal Investigations Division worked with the Texas Rangers during the investigation.
