Mayweather Under Spotlight Amid Legal Controversies

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is facing renewed scrutiny after a wave of legal and personal controversies resurfaced online, including a court ruling involving an alleged secret daughter with Paige Moorehead and a massive fraud lawsuit tied to businessman Jona Rechnitz.

The retired boxing champion, long known for flaunting private jets, stacks of cash and luxury real estate, remains one of the wealthiest figures in sports. But recent court filings and lawsuits have sparked fresh questions about both his finances and personal life.

Inside Floyd Mayweather’s Net Worth and Fortune

During his undefeated professional boxing career,Mayweather reportedly earned more than $1 billion through pay-per-view fights, sponsorships and promotions. His blockbuster bouts against Manny Pacquiao and Conor McGregor became two of the highest-grossing combat sports events ever staged.

Since retiring professionally in 2017 with a perfect 50-0 record, Mayweather has continued earning money through exhibition fights, business ventures and real estate investments. Reports indicate he still owns luxury properties and commercial assets across Las Vegas, California and other locations.

However, his finances have recently attracted increased attention following several lawsuits and reports involving unpaid debts, private jet disputes and alleged financial mismanagement.

What Happened With Paige Moorehead and the “Secret Daughter” Claims?

Mayweather has been ordered to pay $1 million in child support after a court declared he fathered a daughter with Paige Moorehead, a former dancer at Mayweather’s Las Vegas strip club, Girl Collection.

According to court documents first reported by TMZ, the ruling came as Mayweather was declared the father of a four-year-old girl after he allegedly failed to comply with court-ordered DNA testing.

Mayweather has previously spoken publicly about having five children, but details connected to the resurfaced claims remain limited.

Jona Rechnitz Lawsuit Explained

At the same time, Mayweather has launched a major lawsuit against former associate Jona Rechnitz, accusing him of orchestrating a years-long fraud scheme involving millions of dollars in assets.

The lawsuit, filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, alleges Rechnitz and others gained control over Mayweather’s finances and mishandled or diverted luxury jewelry, bank accounts, real estate transactions and proceeds from the sale of a private jet.

According to the complaint, Mayweather claims he may have lost as much as $175 million through the alleged scheme.

Rechnitz is already a controversial figure in New York business and political circles. He previously cooperated with federal investigators in a major corruption case involving the NYPD and public officials.

A source close to Rechnitz denied the allegations to TMZ, arguing that many of Mayweather’s financial issues predated their business relationship.
