Modern Family’s Eric Stonestreet Marries Lindsay Schweitzer

Eric Stonestreet is celebrating another trip around the sun with a new title: husband.

The Modern Family star revealed he and longtime love and Lindsay Schweitzer tied the knot, sharing the news on his 54th birthday.  

“It’s my birthday,” Eric wrote on Instagram Sept. 9, alongside photos from the wedding, “and guess what I got.”

Alongside the news, he shared a glimpse into their small, intimate indoor ceremony. Lindsay, 46, wore a sleeveless white silk wedding dress with a draped neckline and sparkling jeweled belt. Eric complemented her look in sported a black suit with a teal tie.

And the groom’s Modern Family husband was among the loved ones showring them with well wishes on social media. 

“Of all second marriages, this one is my favorite!” Jesse Tyler Ferguson joked in the comments. “I love you both! I’m so happy for you!!!!”

Jesse’s husband Justin Mitika also chimed in with a hear emoji and  “Congrats!” while another Modern Family alum responded to the post with three partying face emojis.
