Oak Hill Parkway completion near, traffic woes persist

The Oak Hill Parkway construction project in Southwest Austin is expected to be completed in 2026, with newly opened lanes on US 290 and flyovers at SH 71, but traffic on the service road of SH 71 remains congested and the road connecting Oak Hill Plaza shopping center is closed until “substantial completion” is reached later this summer.
