Onmeta Accelerates Global Footprint with Strategic Kazpost Partnership in Kazakhstan

Partnership brings together QazPost’s nationwide distribution network and OnMeta’s digital payments infrastructure

OnMeta today announced that it has signed a MoU with QazPost, Kazakhstan’s national postal and financial-services network, to explore and develop new digital financial solutions for consumers and businesses across the country. The MoU was signed on the sidelines of the AI &

Digital Bridge 2026 forum in ASTANA, Kazakhstan on October 2nd, 2026.
The partnership brings together QazPost’s nationwide distribution network and OnMeta’s rapidly growing digital payments infrastructure at significant scale.

OnMeta, based out of India & Singapore, provides payments and digital-asset infrastructure that makes it simpler to move between traditional and digital financial rails. The company has already processed more than $100 million in transaction volume in 2026, reflecting growing demand for faster and more seamless digital financial services.

Qazpost is Kazakhstan’s national postal operator and a 100% subsidiary of the state holding Samruk-Kazyna. It has the broadest national networks, with approximately 2,500 locations and 17,000 employees, serving customers across major cities as well as remote and rural communities. Its financial-services network facilitates billions of dollars in financial flows annually, alongside its nationwide postal and logistics infrastructure.

This partnership aims to explore technological and business models that would expand access to digital assets for the people of Kazakhstan through the Qazpost digital ecosystem in the future. As part of the collaboration, the parties intend to study possible scenarios for integrating OnMeta’s relevant solutions into the Qazpost mobile application, as well as requirements for product architecture, compliance, and technological infrastructure. According to the memorandum, the parties intend to exchange information and expertise, hold consultations, jointly plan future areas of work, and conclude separate agreements.

“QazPost has something that is extremely difficult to replicate: trusted financial infrastructure with nationwide reach,” said Thillainayagam Bharath, Founder & CEO- OnMeta. “Technology alone does not create mass adoption. People adopt new age financial services through institutions they already trust, and QazPost has earned that trust in every corner of the country. Pairing our digital infrastructure with that network gives us a real opportunity to bring the next generation of financial services to people across Kazakhstan.”

“We view this cooperation primarily as an opportunity to explore new technological solutions and models for their application in the Kazakhstani market. Our task at the current stage is to assess potential integration formats, technological requirements and regulatory aspects ,” noted Bekezhan Zhakeyev, Chairman of the Board of Kazpost JSC.

Both companies want digital finance to be usable by mainstream consumers and businesses without asking them to understand the underlying technology. Rather than treating digital assets as a standalone category, QazPost and OnMeta will look at how digital infrastructure can make existing financial activities faster and easier.

Connecting national reach with digital infrastructure
Kazakhstan has become an important market for digital finance, fintech and blockchain infrastructure in Central Asia. QazPost brings nationwide physical infrastructure, customer access and trusted financial-service distribution. OnMeta brings the technology for digital transactions and access to digital financial products.

“The biggest opportunity is not simply putting finance onchain,” added Bharath. “It is making the underlying technology invisible. Consumers should simply experience faster payments, easier transfers and better financial products. If we do that successfully, Kazakhstan has the opportunity to become one of the leading markets in the region for connecting traditional finance with the digital economy.”

The first phase of the partnership will focus on identifying high-impact use cases and building a roadmap for implementation across QazPost’s financial and distribution network.
