Paramount Hires Shuwanza Goff To Government Affairs Post

Shuwanza Goff, who served as director of the White House Office Of Legislative Affairs during Joe Biden’s administration, is joining Paramount‘s D.C. office.

Goff will serve as vice president, U.S. government affairs, serving as the lead to Democrats. She will report to Ted Lehman, senior vice president and head of U.S. public policy and government affairs. She will join the company on July 6.

In the Biden White House, she drove the White House’s policy agenda and guided relationships with lawmakers of both parties. Before the administration, she spent a decade working in House leadership, including as floor director for then-House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD).

Lehman said in a statement, “I know how rare it is to find someone who is deeply respected and highly effective across both parties. Shuwanza is exactly that—a trusted, known quantity in Washington and an exceptional colleague. As we continue to build out our Government Affairs team, we’re thrilled to have her join us.”
