Prime Video casts Jay Baruchel, Ciara Bravo and more in ‘Reacher’ season 5 

Ahead of the Season 4 premiere and the upcoming spinoff Neagley, Prime Video has announced new cast members joining Reacher for Season 5.

The action series, starring Alan Ritchson, has amassed a prominent fan base, with viewers waiting to see what is in store next for Jack Reacher.

The television series is based on the best-selling Jack Reacher book series by author Lee Child. The series includes 30 books, with each season based on a different book. Season 4 will follow the plot of “Gone Tomorrow,” the thirteenth book in the series: Jack Reacher witnesses a suspicious subway passenger take her own life, which pulls him into a deep government conspiracy.

Season 4 already added additional cast members, but four new season regulars will be joining the cast for Season 5. Who are they? Read on to find out more.

Who is joining the Reacher Season 5 cast?

Reacher has announced 4 new members of its cast. FUBAR‘s Jay Baruchel will play Chief Buck Bauer, the police chief of the small town of Mother’s Rest. He will act alongside Ciara Bravo from Voicemails for Isabelle, who will play Eunice. Amanda Ip from the TV series Transplant will play Michelle Chang. The Naked Gun’s Kevin Durand will play Nokes.

Baruchel was originally set to join the series in Season 4, but was recast with Christopher Marquette due to a personal matter.

What novel is Reacher Season 5 based on?

Reacher Season 5 will be an adaptation of the 20th book in the series, “Make Me“. The plot follows Reacher as his train stops in the mysterious town of Mother’s Rest. There, he teams up with a private investigator in the search for a missing person and uncovers a dangerous and deadly criminal conspiracy.

When does Reacher Season 4 come out?

Reacher Season 4 officially premieres Wednesday, August 12 at 3:01 a.m. ET on Prime Video.

When does Neagley Season 1 come out?

Neagley Season 1 is set to release on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. All eight episodes of the series will drop on the same day as the Reacher Season 4 finale.
