Report: Austin's tech scene is losing momentum



AUSTIN (ABJ) — For decades, Austin has mostly seen itself climbing in the ranks as a startup hub and place where big tech is growing at a rapid pace.

But a new report by a San Francisco-based venture firm shows that the local tech sector is cooling off.

Austin has been losing startup talent due to lagging infrastructure, housing costs and return-to-office policies, according to the new report by SignalFire, a venture firm that recently raised over $1 billion for its startup investment fund.
