riana Grande’s Eternal Sunshine Tour Opens in Oakland With 24-Song Setlist

Ariana Grande’s Eternal Sunshine Tour officially launched June 6 at Oakland Arena, marking her return to the concert stage nearly seven years after the Sweetener World Tour concluded in 2019. The confirmed opening night setlist gives fans the clearest picture, yet of what the 41-date run will deliver.

The tour is designed to celebrate her 2024 album Eternal Sunshine, its deluxe counterpart Brighter Days Ahead, and the pandemic-era Positions, which never received a proper live touring cycle. Variety, which was on hand for opening night in Oakland, confirmed a 22-song set that balanced deep cuts with well-known hits spanning her catalog.

The Confirmed Setlist (Opening Night, June 6, Oakland):

The show opened with “Yes, And?” and moved through “Positions,” “Dandelion,” “The Boy Is Mine,” “Eternal Sunshine,” “Just Like Magic,” “Thank U, Next,” “7 Rings,” “Imperfect for You,” “Warm Safety Net,” “One Last Time,” “Rain on Me,” “Break Free,” “Twilight Zone,” “Past Life,” “Dangerous Woman,” “Honeymoon Avenue,” “Hampstead,” “Into You,” “Hate That I Made You Love Me,” “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)” and “Supernatural.”

What’s Not on the Setlist:

Notable omissions include “The Way,” “Problem,” “Bang Bang,” “Love Me Harder,” “Side to Side,” “break up with your girlfriend, I’m bored” and “34+35.” After Grande leaves the stage, “ordinary things” plays during credits, accompanied by a dedication to her grandmother, who passed away on June 14, 2025.

Demand for the tour was high from the outset. When tickets went on sale in September 2025, Ticketmaster and SeatGeek experienced significant traffic issues during presales, with fans reporting lengthy queues and technical difficulties.

Resale prices surged into the thousands of dollars for some cities, prompting Grande to publicly criticize scalpers and encourage face-value resales. Grande has not toured since her Sweetener World Tour and has released two studio albums Positions in 2021 and Eternal Sunshine in March 2024 that had no accompanying arena tour until now.

With her next album, Petal, due July 31, the tour will run concurrently with what is expected to be a major release cycle giving the Eternal Sunshine Tour added relevance through its September close in London.
