Runaway kangaroo spotted along Interstate 85 in Alabama

A runaway kangaroo led cops on a wild pursuit after the hopping fugitive escaped from its enclosure and caused a two-car crash that shut down parts of an Alabama highway on April 29.

The marsupial, named Sheila, was spotted bounding along Interstate 85 in Macon County between Tuskegee and Auburn when two cars attempting to avoid the bouncing roo collided just before noon, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
