Savannah Guthrie tears up over Allison Janney’s tribute to missing mom Nancy after Emmys 2026 win

Savannah Guthrie was “so touched” by Allison Janney’s tribute to her missing mom, Nancy Guthrie, at Monday evening’s Emmys 2026.

“It was her moment, her triumph,” the “Today” show co-host told viewers Tuesday morning. “For her to sit and just take a moment to think about our family [meant a lot].”

The 54-year-old, whose mother was abducted from her Arizona home in February, added, “I never let a moment pass if I get one to talk about my mom and how I miss her.”

Savannah said her “whole family” is still “in such pain” seven months into Nancy’s disappearance.

“We need help,” she continued. “Thank you, Allison Janney, for remembering us and giving me an opportunity for me to renew that call. We just want our mom home [to] give her a proper goodbye. That’s all.”

Her co-host Willie Geist shared the FBI tip line as Savannah tearfully urged people to call anonymously with information.

“Our family needs you,” she pleaded.

This is a developing story…
