Shohei Ohtani stands above it all with Game 3 for the ages — and it’s not even close

LOS ANGELES — He was the greatness amid a classic.

The Blue Jays and Dodgers waged an epic World Series Game 3 full of heroes, difference-makers and indelible plays.

Shohei Ohtani rose above it all. One for the record books. One for the memory bank. One of a kind.

In his previous game at Dodger Stadium, the NLCS clincher against the Brewers, Ohtani authored six shutout innings with 10 strikeouts while also hitting three homers as Los Angeles completed a four-game sweep.
