Squirmy and Grubs’ Shane Burcaw, Hannah Burcaw Share Plans to Protect Baby From “Horrible” Online Trolls

Indeed, because of the hateful messages they’ve gotten, both Hannah and Shane—who tied the knot in 2020—feel strongly about maintaining their baby’s privacy, especially since their little one can’t consent to being online just yet.

As Hannah put it, “Social media is not always great.”

“We definitely don’t want to subject a child to the kinds of comments that we get,” Hannah explained. “We know what we’ve signed up for, and we’re excited to share our parenting journey, and how we make it work and all of that.”

She added, “But at the same time, our main goal is just privacy for the baby.”
