‘Still Flipping Out’ exclusive clip: What did Jeff Lewis find at Kym Whitley’s house?
Jeff Lewis may be a big-time SiriusXM star with his hit show, Jeff Lewis Live, on Radio Andy, but his first love will always be home renovation and interior design. In this exclusive clip from tonight’s all-new episode of Still Flipping Out, Lewis and his Chief of Staff, Shane Douglas, stop by the house of actress/comedian/chump Kym Whitley.
As soon as Whitley opens the door, Lewis hugs her and asks, “I’m so sorry, this is rude, but can I use your restroom?” Whitley stares at him in shock. “You really gotta use the bathroom?” “I really do,” says Lewis. “Go up the stairs,” replies Whitley.
“He has to go too,” says Lewis, gesturing to Douglas. “I have to go too. I’m going to go next,” confirms Douglas. “How many bathrooms do you think I got in here?” asks Whitley incredulously. “And also, we have about 12 crew members that have to go so we’ll just line up,” jokes Lewis.
As he heads up the stairs, Lewis notices a stain on the carpet. “Can we get rid of this carpet, please?” asks Lewis. “This is awful.” Whitley agrees. “It is awful, and it’s got stains on it.” Undeterred, Lewis continues. “I’ve got a great wood floor guy.”
In his confessional, Lewis explains his connection with Whitley. “Kym Whitley ended up on Jeff Lewis Live, and we had kind of an instant connection.” The camera quickly cut to a flashback of Whitley yucking it up with Lewis and his chums. It’s clear from the footage that Whitley gets a kick out of Lewis and vice versa.
Back in Whitley’s home, Lewis calls down to her from the bathroom. “Kym, do you have a plunger?” Whitley’s jaw drops. “Did you boo boo in my house?” Lewis laughs and comes down the stairs. “No, I did not,” says Lewis mischievously. Lewis goes on in his confessional: “Kym and I both push buttons, which is our love language.”
Lewis then explains to the cameras why he and Douglas are at Whitley’s house. “She needed some help at her house. I already knew it wasn’t going to be a big money job, but she’s a friend.” In her home, Whitley shows Lewis around her overstuffed living space.
“After the fires, I realized I’ve got too much stuff, so I said I was going to purge,” says Whitley. “And then I didn’t.” As Lewis stares at Kym, she gets more and more anxious. “I’m just going to let you walk and look at everything.”
Lewis goes to Kym’s office and begins to open the door. “Jesus, help me,” says Whitley, bracing herself for Lewis’ remarks. “Oh, wow,” says Lewis as he sees the cluttered space. “I can hear the judgment,” says Whitley to the cameras.
In his confessional, Lewis is in shock. “I had no warning and no indication of what I was to find at Kym’s.” So, what did Lewis find?
