Texas lawmakers discuss adding counties from New Mexico in rare boundary change




The proposal garnered attention in Texas after a pair of Republican state lawmakers in Lea County, NM filed a bill in February that would allow counties to vote on whether or not to secede from the Land of Enchantment and into the Lone Star State.
