The biggest Rangers depth chart questions after an offseason facelift

With the bulk of the Rangers’ offseason work complete, the lineup alterations have started to come into focus.

Pivotal nuts and bolts from the club’s 2024 run to the Eastern Conference final are still in place, while other parts have been retrofitted to try to fix what plagued the team the previous two seasons and caused them to miss the playoffs.

The lineup will be familiar in some ways, very different in others.

Some young players who worked to make a lasting impression in a lost 2025-26 campaign will compete against outside reinforcements for spots.
