According to Reuters, Svitolina said, “I feel calmer now.”
The former world number three has rebuilt her form steadily since returning to the tour following maternity leave and remains one of the most experienced players in the women’s draw. Svitolina added that balancing tennis with family life has helped her maintain perspective during difficult moments on tour.

Svitolina has previously reached the quarterfinals at Roland Garros four times and remains one of the strongest movers on clay courts in women’s tennis.
The 31-year-old enters Paris after several encouraging performances during the European clay season and is viewed as a dangerous opponent for higher-seeded players.
