USA vs Belgium Live Streaming: How to Watch FIFA World Cup 2026 Round of 16 Match from Anywhere
Seattle Stadium will host a World Cup Round of 16 showdown between the United States and Belgium on Monday night, with a place in the quarterfinals and a meeting with either Portugal or Spain at stake. Mauricio Pochettino’s side has won three of its four matches at this World Cup and heads into the game after a 2-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Belgium, despite boasting one of the tournament’s most talented squads, has yet to fully convince, drawing with Egypt and Iran before staging a dramatic late comeback to defeat Senegal 3-2 after extra time. However, the match has already stirred a lot of controversy long before the kickoff.
Controversy Before Match

FIFA overturned Folarin Balogun’s one-match suspension on Sunday, making the U.S. striker available for selection despite his red card against Bosnia. This has infuriated the Belgian team management.
However, Belgian soccer officials were granted the right on Monday to appeal the decision that overturned Folarin Balogun’s suspension, before UEFA criticized FIFA, saying the governing body had “crossed a red line.”
Officials from the Belgian football federation wrote to FIFA, saying they were “astonished” by the ruling. According to anonymous sources cited by The Athletic, FIFA has now approved Belgium’s request to appeal.

As a result, Belgium’s case will be reviewed by a member of FIFA’s appeals committee who is not affiliated with either UEFA or CONCACAF.
It now needs to be seen if Balogun will finally feature in the playing 11. Balogun has scored three goals at this World Cup, and if he returns Pochettino will get more attacking options. Pochettino is expected to move away from the 4-3-3 formation used against Bosnia and switch to a 3-5-2, pairing Balogun with Christian Pulisic in attack.
Sergiño Dest and Antonee Robinson are expected to start as wing-backs. Mark McKenzie and Cristian Roldan remain injury doubts but are not expected to be in the starting lineup. Tyler Adams, Weston McKennie, and Malik Tillman are set to anchor the midfield, while Alex Freeman, Chris Richards, and captain Tim Ream are likely to form the back three. Matt Freese is expected to keep his place in goal.
Meanwhile, Belgium will again be without Zeno Debast, who has missed the entire tournament with a leg injury. Nathan Ngoy is suspended following his red card against Iran, leaving head coach Rudi Garcia with a settled back four of Timothy Castagne, Brandon Mechele, Arthur Theate, and Maxim De Cuyper. Nicolas Raskin is expected to replace Hans Vanaken in midfield alongside Youri Tielemans.
Kevin De Bruyne and Jérémy Doku are set to continue on the flanks behind Romelu Lukaku, who earns a starting spot after making a strong impact off the bench against Senegal. Leandro Trossard has recovered from an injury concern and is expected to be available, while Thibaut Courtois will continue in goal.
