Was Tom Brady-Logan Paul Fight Staged? Shocking Moment NFL Legend Slaps WWE Star at Fanatics Fest Reigniting Old Feud [WATCH]
Tom Brady and Logan Paul had a tense confrontation at Fanatics Fest on Friday night, just months after speculation that the two could face off in a WWE ring. Video of the incident showed Brady and Paul exchanging heated words after reigniting their long-running feud at the star-studded event in New York City.
The situation quickly escalated, with the NFL icon appearing to slap Paul on the side of the head. Whether the confrontation was genuine or part of a staged act remains unclear, but the incident appeared to leave New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns shocked as the trio stood together before a live audience at the Javits Center.
Total Chaos
After taking the slap, the WWE star pointed toward Brady while Towns tried to pacify them. Before their heated exchange on stage, Brady and Paul revisited their encounter at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic earlier this year.
The two had several run-ins during the game, but it was Paul who ultimately came out on top, with his Wildcats FFC team defeating Brady’s Founders FFC.

“It’s just nuts to me how Tom Brady couldn’t come back from us winning the flag football game that he said he was going to beat me,” Paul said while sitting on the same panel as the seven-time Super Bowl winner at Fanatics Fest.
“I just want to say it… never forget. Never forget the YouTuber beat the football player.”
“There were a lot of cheap shots in that game too,” Brady responded.
After the viral slap, Paul posted on X: “This happened bc I was roasting Tom for beating him in flag football. And he tries to smack me ?? Horrible example for the kids Aura -100 + Blocked. With a torn tricep.”
Fight Continues on Social Media
Brady later quoted his own post, writing: “I tried America… will try again next time I see this nerd.” The former NFL quarterback’s feud with Paul dates back to February, when he appeared on the wrestler’s Impaulsive podcast and mocked his athletic credentials. Brady called Paul’s abilities “cute” but insisted he did not have the toughness of an NFL player.
Paul fired back by claiming he could beat most NFL players in a fight, a comment that sparked widespread debate. Their rivalry then intensified during the Fanatics Flag Football Classic earlier this year.
Despite the public back-and-forth, many have questioned whether the feud is genuine or simply a publicity stunt designed to attract attention.
Back in March, the Daily Mail reported that, according to a source, Brady and Paul were only playing up the rivalry to set the stage for a possible WWE storyline.
The former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback had also been expected to make an appearance at WrestleMania earlier this year, but ultimately did not show up at WWE’s biggest event.
However, Brady suggested on Thursday that he is still open to stepping into a WWE ring and is waiting for WWE president Nick Khan to reach out.
Since retiring from the NFL in 2023, Brady has kept busy with several ventures. He is now preparing to begin the third year of his 10-year, $375 million broadcasting deal with Fox after transitioning into a career as an NFL analyst.
