Wendy Williams Makes Rare Public Appearance Amid Health Battles
Wendy Williams is honoring the ultimate hot topic: herself.
The former talk show host, who was placed under a court-appointed guardianship in 2022, stepped out for a belated birthday celebration at Peter Luger Steakhouse in New York City July 20.
During the outing, Wendy, 61, flashed a wide grin as she donned a green and white patterned minidress, which she accessorized with a red leather handbag, a Gucci belt, large sunglasses and her signature silver “W” necklace. She was accompanied by her niece Alex Finnie as well as Alex’s partner Eric Houston for the family excursion.
Three days earlier, Wendy—who shares son Kevin Hunter Jr., 24, with ex-husband Kevin Hunter—enjoyed another evening out in the Big Apple as she walked arm-in-arm into Delmonico’s with former Wendy Williams Show producer Suzanne Bass. In a video obtained by TMZ, Wendy shared that for her birthday, she wished to be “out of guardianship.”
