How Did Season 1 of A Man on the Inside End?
Season 1 of A Man on the Inside concluded with Charles discovering that no one had intentionally stolen Helen Cubbler’s (Danielle Kennedy) necklace, but that it was Gladys (Susan Ruttan) — the kindly resident who lived across the hall from Charles — who had taken it out of confusion. Charles was able to crack the case by noticing the same signs of dementia in Gladys that he had seen in his own wife before her death, realizing that Gladys’ mental state was deteriorating quickly. After returning the necklace and getting Gladys into Pacific View’s memory care unit, Charles turned back to Julie, looking for his next case and another opportunity to go undercover.
