Woman Arrested after She Completely Undresses and Performs Lewd Acts on American Airlines Flight to Miami
A woman was arrested in Florida after allegedly stripping completely naked and engaging in lewd behavior in front of other passengers. Police officers responded to American Airlines Flight 1779 after it landed at Miami International Airport on Friday, following its departure from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, according to Fox News.
The lead flight attendant reported that a woman seated in 9D stripped naked during the flight and engaged in indecent behavior in front of other passengers, according to an Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) message cited by the outlet. The incident was reported to American Airlines’ Integrated Operations Center, which recommended contacting law enforcement, the report said.

An ACARS message related to the incident was logged Saturday and later cited by The Independent: “FA1 REPORTS THAT PAX IN SEAT 9DEF HAS TAKEN OFF ALL HER CLOTHES AND WAS SEEN BY OTHER PAX ******************* IN AN INDECENT MANNER.
“FOM SAYS THIS MUST BE REPORTED TO IOC/OSM AND HAVE LAW ENFORCEMENT.”
Police officers were waiting at the gate when the aircraft landed and took the passenger into custody.
When a passenger’s conduct is considered a threat to the safety of others on board, flight attendants have the authority to intervene. Crew members may restrain a passenger when necessary to protect other travelers and maintain order during the flight.
However, it remains unclear whether the crew had to use any such measures during the incident.
The incident came only days after another passenger on an American Airlines flight was taken into custody following an alleged homophobic and racist outburst on September 6.
Layne Arthur Lundeen, 67, was reportedly restrained with duct tape by fellow passengers during a flight from Dallas, Texas, to Newark, New Jersey.
Passengers said Lundeen appeared to be drunk when he began shouting at the male passenger sitting beside him at around 10 p.m., with the flight roughly three-quarters of the way through its journey.
Everyday Affair
Lundeen, who was traveling in first class, was allegedly ranting about Jesus and going to hell. A flight attendant approached after noticing the disturbance, according to sources cited by TMZ.
Lundeen then allegedly hurled a racial slur at the Black flight attendant and made homophobic remarks, according to the report. A female passenger reportedly tried to intervene but was allegedly pushed by Lundeen. Three male passengers then stepped in, with Lundeen accused of biting one of them and trying to bite another.
Two male passengers seated about two rows ahead of Lundeen reportedly got up and stepped in to help.
A flight attendant then gave them duct tape, which they allegedly used to restrain Lundeen by securing his wrists, head and body to the seat with the gray tape. Lundeen reportedly tried to free himself, but the passengers continued holding him down until the situation was brought under control.
Lundeen was arrested on state charges, while the FBI could potentially pursue additional federal charges, according to TMZ.
